PumpCycle AI ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.
2 DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a notification with the following information:
Identification of the copyrighted work
A description of the work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works.
Identification of the infringing material
Information sufficient to locate the material (e.g., URL or specific page).
Your contact information
Your address, telephone number, and email address.
Good faith statement
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized.
Accuracy statement
A statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Your signature
Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

4 Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification including:
- Identification of the removed material and its former location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original claimant. If no court action is filed within 10 business days, we may restore the material.
5 Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our service and/or terminate accounts of any users who infringe intellectual property rights of others.
6 Data Attribution Policy
PumpCycle AI extracts factual performance data from pump datasheets uploaded by users. We believe this constitutes fair use and transformative use under copyright law:

Pump performance data is not copyrightable under the Feist doctrine.
No Reproduction
We do not reproduce original images or creative expression publicly.
Regenerated Charts
We use our own standardized chart format for visualizations.
Clear Attribution
We provide clear attribution to the original data source.
